James and Oliver Phelps (yes, the Weasley twins, Fred and George) opened the Harry Potter Exhibition in Sydney, Australia. We had a chat to them and had a look at a decade’s worth of film props that filled 23 ship containers in the long journey around the world.
The collection was so massive, the Great Hall set was used to go through it all.
Experts put together props, costumes and sets from Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone all the way through to Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part Two.
If you’re a Harry Potter fan, the exhibition is something special – the amount of work that has gone into these props is phenomenal, and the collection is pretty much close to priceless. If you have children, and are going anywhere near Sydney in the coming months, do yourself a favour and go to the Powerhouse Museum.
